Arena Insider releases four-part docuseries, ‘The Turbulent Revival of the Arena Football League’

Arena Insider in collaboration with X1 Media/X1 Investigates released a four part docuseries, ‘The Turbulent Revival of the Arena Football League’, which delved into the shocking events that unfolded in the AFL’s return after a five-year hiatus. We uncovered new details, lawsuits, and exclusive interviews from individuals in the league circle about cases involving fraud and deceit.

Episode 1: Part one highlights the AFL in 2019 and the difficulties starting back up in cities and arenas for 2024.

 Episode 2: Part two breaks down the collapse in week one, NFL Network falling through and teams pleading for answers.

Episode 3: Part three breaks down the collapse that led to four teams suspending operations a few weeks into the new season which ultimately led to the ouster of commissioner Lee Hutton III. 

Episode 4: In the fourth and final episode, we break down the other teams that shutdown midseason, owners sounding the alarm on the future of the AFL, fallout with G6 Sports, and the remaining teams forming a new league.
